JOSH WIGGERS
Josh is an entrepreneur, Red Seal carpenter, and the founder of Kona Carpentry. His career in construction began at just 13 years old, working part-time while attending school on Vancouver Island. As a teenager working alongside his Uncle Joel, Josh quickly discovered a natural talent for carpentry and a passion for the fast-paced environment of residential construction.
By 19, Josh had earned his Red Seal certification, and at just 20 years old, Kona Carpentry was born. Since then, he has helped grow Kona from a small carpentry company into an established home builder and group of companies serving Fort St. John and the surrounding area.
Josh has led or played an integral role in the construction of more than 250 homes, including over 100 in the Fort St. John area, where he has lived and raised his family for more than a decade.
Josh credits his success to ambition, resilience, honesty, and integrity—values he works to instill throughout the Kona team and the relationships they build. Outside of business, Josh is a proud father of two boys.

BEHIND THE NAME...
Kona, Hawaii is one of the most beautiful places on the planet and it is where Josh’s father, siblings and grandparents are lucky enough to make their home. Josh has always kept this wonderful place close to his heart, and combined with his passion for building, it inspires him to help others build their very own paradise and transcend the true meaning of the word ‘Ohana,’ the root of culture in Hawaii. It’s meaning reflects the importance of belonging to a family and your obligation to behave responsibly with integrity so that your Ohana is pleased to claim you. It’s a give and take with all members included and none left behind.
